In 2001 a study by Proudfoot Consulting revealed the cost of bad management, low employee morale and poorly trained staff to British business at 117 lost working days per year. In 2002 the total lost days to absenteeism in the UK was 166 million In 2003 the Stress and Health at Work (SHAW) study indicated that 1 in 5 of all working individuals thought their job was very or extremely stressful In 2004 a survey indicated that around half a million individuals in the UK believed that they were experiencing work related stress at a level that was making them ill. In 2005 the cost to UK plc in lost work days due to lack of engagement was estimated to be between £39-48 billion. By now, you will see a growing trend of staff related problems affecting businesses in the UK that can no longer be ignored and if you don’t think you are being affected by it then please take 30 seconds of your time to complete our short task below…..
